Zero Carbon Homes bought by Sovereign Housing Association
Zero Carbon Homes are accepted as more mainstream it seems as Sovereign Homes have just taken over 61 out of a development of 185 homes at the largest zero carbon residential development to date in Britain.
The site, at Hanham Hall in South Gloucestershire is owned by the Home and Communities Agency who started the development in late 2011 and completed the first units in the summer of 2012. When interviewed, Sovereign Housing Director James Gibson was keen to point out the organisation’s environmentally responsible approach, stating that “We do all we can to reduce the environmental impact of our homes and business”.
